About the Exterior Paint Consultation Project
THE BACKSTORY:
This client was referred by a local painting company and lake home builder. The client called Clover for an interior and exterior paint consultation.
This client owned multiple businesses and wanted to simplify the color process. He wanted a few custom palettes and had a very unique, bold and amazing modern style. His lake home is on a peninsula on Lake Orion so the color selection was imperative and lighting affected it differently at all times of the day.
PROJECT CHALLENGES:
We were brought in after the exterior materials (multiple stones and hardie plank) had been selected. The client wanted the soffit to be a bright red color, and that was a must have for the client. Our challenge then was selecting the perfect exterior color palette in all lighting, at all different times of the day. After multiple trips to the residence to confirm colors, we nailed it! Clover provided the client with several renderings to choose from, which gave him the visual needed to confirm the color. To this day, his house is one of Clover’s favorite exterior masterpieces because it is so different from the majority of our clients that desire a safe and transitional exterior color.
CLIENT REACTION:
Loves it! Interior and exterior. We also selected an interior color palette for the entire home as well which was also amazing! The Clover team was invited to his house warming party so we believe that communicates not only his satisfaction with the design, but also the positive client experience.
