About the Exterior Paint Consultation and Kitchen Refresh Project
BACKSTORY:
This client was referred by a local painting company. They were interested in a deep rich blue for the exterior paint, but were not sure what direction was the right choice. They hired Clover for a color consultation with a rendering and while onsite added additional design services for the kitchen refresh.
These clients were both busy working professionals that worked in the finance and investment industry. They did not have the time to manage the design details so they hired Clover. They had worked with 6 other designers previously and professed that Clover was by far the absolute best. Such a compliment!
PROJECT CHALLENGES:
This was one of Clover’s first jobs working with a client’s contractors. From this experience, we realized that working with the client’s contractors presents a whole set of challenges. Because Clover does not provide these contractors with significant business or profit, they are less motivated to comply with Clover’s direction. This challenge greatly influenced Clover’s business direction from that point on.
