About the Dental Office Remodel Project
THE BACKSTORY:
This client was referred by a local builder. A car drove through their exterior office wall affecting the structure and interior rooms. The owner (a dentist) was interested in a total gut and office remodel from floor to ceiling. There were 15 rooms included in this scope of work in addition to concrete, steel/structure, exterior windows, millwork for the custom designed reception desk, electrical, painting, plumbing and more. This job was a combo of design and construction administration, like 80% of our jobs.
The Clover Designs team focused on creating a comfortable and immediately welcoming space. Clover’s careful selection of materials and finishes (right down to the curved reception desk that coordinated beautifully with the color we selected for the accent wall). The balance of contrast and coordination created a bold and beautiful transformation!
Tim was the Owner of the practice (and building). His Office Manager Michelle was the main point of contact, however Tim approved the design, look, feel, layout and aesthetic. He was not involved in the day to day decisions. Like most of our clients, Tim trusted our expertise to create, select the materials and finishes and execute the design approved.
PROJECT CHALLENGES:
Covid. The project began construction when Covid started. The design phase was not greatly affected by Covid, however the construction phase was. We were dead smack in the middle of demolition when the lockdown was enforced. All trades had to cease immediately placing the project on hold and at a standstill until precautions were lifted and trades were released to return to work. This was frustrating to all parties. Thankfully, the clients were understanding. Once we returned to work, we executed the project as planned with our new adjusted timeline.
WHAT MAKES THIS OFFICE REMODEL SPECIAL:
New lvp flooring, new led lighting throughout the office and rooms. Accent wall with Sherwin Williams palette that blended beautifully with the custom designed reception area and welcoming waiting room
